Introduce a friend to IG Index and you can score two £100 football spread bets for yourself!

For every friend who opens a sports account and places just 5 settled sports spread bets, you'll receive a free £100 Supremacy or Total Goals bet on a live football match. And when your friend places another 20 or more settled sports spread bets, you'll receive a further free £100 Supremacy or Total Goals bet on a live football match.*

Please note that this offer is intended to reward our clients for genuine referrals, and that we reserve the right not to award free bets and/or to withold winnings on free bets where we believe that this not to be the case.

How it works
Once your friend has opened their account and placed 5 settled sports spread bets you will receive a free £100 Supremacy or Total Goals bet on a live football match.

And then, once your friend has placed an additional 20 settled sports spread bets you will receive a further free £100 Supremacy or Total Goals bet on a live football match.

In order to count towards the totals above: your friend's bets must be placed between 23 July 2007 and 31 July 2008; they must be placed on individual markets on separate events; and each must carry a minimum risk of £20.

Please note your friend may lose on some or all of the qualifying bets and this could be deemed a cost to your friend.

How to claim

To claim your bets, please call our Helpdesk on 0500 913 911 (free bets cannot be accepted on the sports betting desk or via the internet) and we will provide you with the live football matches on which we are offering Supremacy and Total Goal prices. You choose whether to buy or sell at the quoted price.

Our prices are usually available at least 24 hours before the match, and although you can call up to the start of the match, please don't leave it too late. Please note that a free bet will only stand when you have received confirmation from us.

This offer applies where a referred friend's sports account is opened between 23 July 2007 and 31 July 2008 only.

Sorry, but this offer is not open to family members, or introductions from the same address or household, or where we reasonably believe there to be evidence of co-operation, collusion and/or organisation of bets from the same source.

For a referrer to qualify for the first £100 free football spread bet the referred client must open a sports account and place 5 settled sports spread bets with a minimum risk of £20 each on individual markets on separate events between 23 July 2007 and 31 July 2008. For a referrer to qualify for the second £100 free football spread bet the referred client must place an additional 20 settled sports spread bets with a minimum risk of £20 each on individual markets on separate events between 23 July 2007 and 31 July 2008. Where more than one spread bet is placed on the same market on the same event only the first settled bet will qualify; part settled, binary bets or void bets do not qualify. The free Supremacy or Total Goals bets can only be placed using the dedicated Helpdesk telephone number on a live football match. A free bet will entitle the holder to receive any winnings on that bet, but not to incur any losses. No cash alternative. Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other introductory offer and will expire if the required number of qualifying settled sports spread bets have not been placed by the referred client by 31 July 2008. A free bet will only stand when you have received confirmation from us. All free bets must be used before 31 July 2008. Clients must be aged 18 or over and have a valid, open and active trading account. One '2 x £100 free bets' offer per household (or group or syndicate of customers, including where IG Sport reasonably believes there to be evidence of co-operation, collusion and/or organization of bets from the same source). Clients can refer a maximum of 5 friends. IG Sport is the arbiter of the promotion and reserves the right to alter, amend or foreclose the offer at any time without prior notice, and in the event of any dispute its decision is final.
